Y’Akoto - Diamonds
Beautiful.
Quantic & Alice Russell - Here Again
Sweet Saturday Song. I love alliteration.
I saw thefuckinrealest post this on her page. While I do love the more hip hop version of this track, I will always love the organic version. Shout out to thefuckinrealest for this one.
You Called Me - Mayer Hawthrone
Dance.
Montana Orchestra
So smmoooth.
Billy Preston Slaughter
That Quentin Tarantino sure does have good taste.
Waitin’ - Favorite Flava

I finally got my hands on the Different Phase LP by Favorite Flava. I’m really diggin’ it. I think these guys have a lot of talent and I’m really shocked that they don’t have many followers in the states. Dilla and Madlib heads would feel these guys. Here’s one of my favorite tracks off the album. There are plenty more gems on there. So do yourself a favor and cop one please.
Light to Dark - Jesse Boykins III
Off of the Way of A Wayfarer EP. Can’t wait for the new LP. Enjoy.
Good Thoughts, Bad Thoughts - Funkadelic
One of the greatest songs of all time by my favorite band of all time. Enjoy. Happy 4th.

Favorite Flava - VII (Sasac Remix)
Remix for the track VII by Favorite Flava done by Sasac. Sooo smooth. I’m just saying keep an eye out for these dudes.

Got to Learn How to Dance - The Fatback Band
If this doesn’t make you move in some way shape or form than you’ve failed to learn how to dance. Enjoy.
Deodato - Just This One Night
All these summer jams. BBQ, beers, and great memories type music.
Favorite Flava - So Cruel
I have been trying to post music by these guys all day. Been getting sidetracked looking at other music. So earlier today I tried to post some music by Stray (Swedish Producer) who happens to be apart of this group consisting of Erik Lidén (Erik L), Mattias Axelsson (Stray) & Paul Mac Innes. These guys make soulful electro based music that would make Prince proud he decided to make music. I’m a bit surprised that they do not have a huge fan base out here. Erik L is masterful when it comes to mixing and mastering, all the elements are so clear and crisp and Paul and Mattias silky smooth vocals soften the electronic textures. Definitely need to keep an eye out for these guys. They all have great side projects going on, but Favorite Flava might be the thing that gets them across the Atlantic and into your favorite venue. Enjoy.
